Kate O’Donnell (she/her) is a 23 year old visual artist from St. Paul, Minnesota. She creates acrylic paintings, along with hand painted earrings, pots, and tote bags. When she began painting in 2019, creating one painting per day which lead to a passion for consistent art making. Now, her art is usually based on mythical or dark images mixed with whimsical designs meant to appear almost hypnotic.
In the past year, 2022-2023, she painted an indoor mural, an outdoor 7×35 foot mural, and hosted her first art market.
Now, she will be staying at Watershed Studios until March 1, 2024, for a five month artist residency.
